These mountains are not for the faint hearted. Queen Moria's great-great-great-great grandfather ordered his gnomes, dwarfs and dark beasts to create a barrier against the rest of Mediocris.
They slaved away for years before creating the fire mountains. During this process they turned the surrounding lands in to wastelands.
