Admus flashed his eyes to Foxy as the creature limped his way to Jessie, pushing the sword into her neck he gave the Fox a warning look.
"Do you believe that I will not kill her where she stands... or you for that matter" Admus questioned narrowing his eyes at the small creature. "I offer you your life... I shall only do his once fox... the choice is not yours as far I can see at the moment" Admus snarled before looking back to Jessie and smiling smugly at her.
"It is the human... this could end peacefully if she chooses correctly" Admus declared shifting his blade to remind her that she had only one choice to make if she wished to keep her life.

Foxy gave a weak growl feeling his legs start to weaken... he forced himself to focus on Admus becasue he feared what would happen to Jessie if he slipped into darkness.
"You won't kill her otherwise you would have done so before I got here... leave her out of this Admus... she is not of this world, she is no threat to you" Foxy declared with less threat then he hoped. He knew his ribs had been broken but how much damage had been done was not known to him.
He needed to distract the warlock in order for Jessie to reach safety.... she had to get free because if she followed Admus Foxy didn't know what would happen to her.
"My life is not more improtant then this girls... despite what your sorrowful creature of a Queen has told you these children mean something here... you would not exisit if they didn't believe enough to keep the hope of Mediocris alive" Foxy stated as his legs stumbled and with one last ounce of strength he sprung forward diving at Admus sword arm.

Tears glistened in Jessie's eyes as Foxy spoke... for such a small creature he held so much heart. "Please... please spare him..." Jessie pleaded before swallowing against the pain and the anger in her. "I will come with you... I swear" Jessie didn't know what that promise would bring but if it spared Foxy's life.
But she saw the movement of Foxy and drove for the ground feeling the sword bite one last time into her neck. Hitting the ground she snapped her hand to her neck feeling the warm blood trickling down between her fingers. Gasping and blinking back the tears of pain hoping that Foxy hadn't done something too stupid.

Admus growled when the fox sprung at him, the girl had hit the ground but she was not of great interest to him at least not for the moment. Using the hilt of his sword he connected with the Fox's jaw and sent him backwards, spinning Admus moved to the girl, he lifted the sword to her throat and smiled at her with a smile that screamed evil.
"What a stupid move... I told you I did not need magic... and a promise in Mediocris has a more powerful meaning then in the human world" Admus warned flashing his eyes at Jessie.
[[ ok I'm not going to have to kidnap you right... the last time I threw you over my shoulder you kicked me somewhere... that I'm rather fond of ]]

Foxy hit the sand hard... his teeth rattled, the pain searing through him. He couldn't take Admus he knew that but he would do what he could to protect Jessie.
But lifting his increasingly heavy head he watched with fear as Jessie promised Admus to follow him.
"NO" the wheeze escaped him before he tried to get up but his legs felt like lead and he hit the ground with a yelp.
"Please no... Jessie run" Foxy whispered turning his bright eyes to the girl... she didn't know... how could she, promises did in fact hold a lot of power here and if she broke a promise then she could face the oldest tradition of Mediocris. It could mean her life... if Admus finished him off and Jessie broke her promise none would know she only made a promise to save his life.

Jessie winched with pain when Admus placed the sword against her neck... the pain from her wound was already draining her now mixed with the dread that Foxy might die she didn't think she could hold out much longer. She thought she might throw up when Foxy wheezed his protest... a promise was a promise just words right.
Glancing to Admus she feared that maybe it wasn't... maybe it meant something more in Mediocris.
"I won't leave you Foxy... please just hold on" Jessie pleaded resisting the urge to fight against Admus. [[hopefully you won't have to... LOL that was funny though your friends laughed when I did that ]]

Foxy was one never to listen... even near the brink of darkness he couldn't just let Jessie to be taken. So with one last ounch of strenght he snarled and flung himself at Admus, sinking his teeth deep into Admus arm feeling the warlock fall backwards. Pain and darkness clouded his vision but he held on for as long as he could... he didn't fear that this might be among his last acts.
At least he could out do Charlie, Theo and Lowe.

Admus growled when the fox throw himself at him again... did this fox never learn. Landing with a thud Admus released the human to deal with the creature, if the creature would not learn by himself then Admus would surly have to teach him.
Growling at the pain Admus flashed his eyes at the fox and didn't bother to reach for his sword, drawing out his dagger he gave the fox a cruel look and sank the dagger deep into the creatures side. Hot blood flood over Admus hand before he pushed the fox from him, clutching his arm he saw the fox whimper, drawing heavy breaths before his eyes began to close.
With one last snatch at breath Foxy stopped moving Admus dagger buried in his side. Admus hadn't felt anything beside the pain and rage of being attacked but now his actions hit him... and for the first time in such a long time they hit him hard.
The creature however foolish it was had given his life for a human... a simple human. Unsure why it was confusing him Admus couldn't start to understand why any creature standing against Moria would think so highly of a human.

Jessie yelped in pain when Foxy knocked Admus backwards, she clutched at her neck feeling the wound tear a little more before she spun round and watched with horror as the warlock drove his dagger into the poor fox's side.
Tears of pain, anger and lost clouded her vision before she saw the warlocks sword, rage now filling her she sprung foward and grabbed it. At the back of her mind she knew she was useless with this thing but she didn't care she just wanted to hurt the warlock.
"You bastard" Jessie snarled holding the sword up towards Admus, if she could just get to Foxy he might have a chance at least if she could get him to the campsite.
"Leave now... or I'll kill you were you stand and please don't think I won't... you sick piece of dirt... he was only trying to protect me" Jessie warned before pointing the sword at Admus' neck.

Admus flashed his eyes at the girl but backed away... he was already wounded and Moria would be angry as it was.
"You are making a foolish mistake child... a promise here once broken could mean your life, if you had followed me then the creature could have been spared" Admus declared still feeling confusion over his actions.
Nothing was making any sense... he needed to return home so he could find a sense of balance once more. Where things made sense and he could understand that all of those who followed Overseer were dead anyway. Backing away watching the sword he glared at the girl leaving his dagger and sword behind knowing he would get new ones once he made it back to the wastelands.

Jessie held the sword up as long as she could after Admus walked away. When the pain reached her shoulders she let out a sob before throwing the sword away and rushing to Foxy. Feeling the hot tears pour down her cheeks she buried her fingers in the creatures hair, she pulled the dagger out and threw it towards the sea before attempting to stop the bleeding but with a sense of sickness she understood the bleeding had already stopped. Pressing a hand to her mouth she couldn't stop her self from crying, the sobs caught in her chest as she stared at the poor creature. "Foxy" Jessie sobbed hiding her face behind her blood stained hands, after a few moments she lifted her eyes to see a glow around Foxy then slowly he transformed into a young boy. His young face looked so peaceful he could pass for sleeping, sniffling Jessie simply sat with her head between her knees feeling the tears drip down into the sand.
[[just to add I really do hate you]]
