Prince Theo happened walked into the clearing, shielding his eyes from the afternoon sun that beamed directly overhead. It was a hot day, and he was feeling rather weary. He'd wandered off from the others, deep in thought. He was getting closer to the time, he could feel it. The time when he'd take the throne... but was he ready?
Sitting in the middle of the clearing, he sighed, putting his face in his hands. Every inch of his being felt weak and vulnerable at that time. He stayed there unmoving, trying hard to clear his mind...

Grace wandered into the woods looking around at all the trees and beautiful plants around. She hasn't been here for a while even though she was born around here. She made her way to the clearing, but stopped when she saw a figure sitting there. She walked up to a tree and peered out from behind it. She squinted her eyes to see if she knew him.
She slowly walked out and tilted her head so she could see his face. "Hello," she said softly, "are you alright, Sir."

He looked up at her, and was momentarily stunned by her beauty. She was an elf, no doubt. Beautiful creatures, all of them. He gave her a weak smile, sitting upright. "Hello miss, just thinking..." he replied, trying to mask the pain, "That's all... what brings you to this part of the forset?"

Grace gave a gentle smile. "I was just visiting this area. I was born in these woods," she replied, "I haven't been here in a while and I thought it was time to drop by." She laughed a bit. She went serious again. "Well you looked a bit stressed, so I thought something was wrong. I hope everything is alright." She gave him a soft smile again and knelt down a short distance away.

"... some things have been on my mind..." He wondered it she knew who he was. Maybe she did and just wasn't saying anything. She didn't feel dangerous or anything, she he decided not to think too much about it. "I'm a bit worried about the future..."

"Oh I see. Well if you need to talk about it....I'll listen," she assured him, letting him know she was there for him. Grace watched his facial expressions and frowned a bit. She didn't know him well, but she didn't like when people was upset. "Why are you worried about the future..... if you don't mind me asking. I don't want you to tell me anything you don't want to," she said wanting to make sure he would be alright.

"... this kingdom..." he started, waving a hand out, "This place... a force threatens it, and I... I don't know how it's going to turn out. I don't know if I'm strong enough, I..." He sighed, realizing he was getting a little loud and speaking fast. Looking to the ground, he shrugged, "I guess I'm just.... scared..."

"Oh now I know who you are," she giggled a bit, "I didn't recognize you by your face. I'm so sorry My Lord." She smiled and blushed, then placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sure everything will be alright. You are a great Prince and you have wonderful people supporting you and they will be there for you every step of the way and I would be honored to fight right there with you too." She smiled a gentle smile again blushing a deeper red. He was so nice. There were so many rumors of stuck up Princes, but he was definitely different. Very likeable.

He smiled up at her. "Thank you" he replied quietly. He wasn't sure what else to say. He didn't feel like complaining anymore. He was, after all, a prince. "You fight?" he asked, curious. It wasn't because she was pretty. He knew plenty of pretty girls who could fight.

"You're quite welcome," she replied still smiling, "and yes I fight. I know a lot of things and I'm good with weapons. I trained myself in that area, but most of my tricks with my powers I learned from my mother. Right now I'm working on teaching myself how to heal using water." She giggled a bit and let her hand drop off his shoulder into her lap.

He gave her a smile, nodding slowly. "Interesting... using water, hm? That could be very useful, theres water everywhere. A very nice skill. I don't know any magic" he said, looking up to the sky. It was afternoon, and growing warmer by the second with the sun right above them.

"Yep," she blushed, "my mom used to do it a lot. She was killed before she could teach it to me?" She looked down for a moment. Thinking about her mom gave her mixed emotions. Sadness, anger, and hatred. She hated that Queen Moria. Her eyes started to water and a tear escaped her eyes. She wiped it away and then looked back up shaking it off. "Hmmm....do you have a favorite flower?" she giggled a bit.

He looked immediately concerned, offering a hankerchief he always held in his pocket. "You lost your mother... I know your pain" he said, quietly. He really did. Since she was killed, he knew what she was feeling: bitterness, anger, hate, sadness. Maybe revenge. Or maybe that was only him. "I don't, really. What's yours?"

Grace took the hankerchief softly. "Thank you," she whispered. She wiped her eyes and smiled at him softly, "you lost your mother too?" She looked at him with concern. They had something in common. "And how can you not have a favorite flower?" she giggled, "but mine is between a rose and a lily, but I was asking because I was going to make one grow for you." She giggled a bit more and then subsided to just a smile.

Smiling back at her, he looked out to the forest around him, with a sigh. "I don't know... I guess I just never thought of a perticular flower I like..." He looked to her, and said, "Lillies are nice, though" He hoped it would cheer her up, since she'd been upset about her late mother. Besides, he liked to see her smile. He liked smiles in general. They were encouraging.
