Victoria wasn't one to panic, she was sure she knew her way around the woods behind her house. But something told her she wasn't in the woods behind her house anymore. The trees here seemed bigger then before and its not like trees can grow over night. She shook her head and sighed. Deciding she should just stop walking and turn back.
I just took a wrong turn that's all. She continued to repeat in her mind over and over again, Just a wrong turn, She thought as she grabbed her bag tighter. She steps seemed to get heavy as she continued her walk through the maze of trees. She felt something tug at her feet and couldn't help but look down. "Its just a vine."She mumbled to herself as she continued her slow pace around the woods.

Leaning against a huge oak tree, Shell flips a few pages of her book. She wasn't too fond of reading lately but she had nothing else to do right now. Glancing up she heard a small snag and then a snapping noise. Someone was near and she didn't take that to her liking very much.
Shell instantly places a hand on her wand, glaring through the scenery to see what would look suspicious, but not yet drawing her weapon. If anything looked dangerous she wasn't going to hesitate. Finally seeing a young woman maybe around her age she sighs, letting go of her grip on the wand and starts flipping the pages of her book again.
"Are you lost..." she mutters unenthusically, not even glancing up from her thoughts as she skimmed the current page she was on. She still wasn't reading but she didn't want to direct all of her attention to the new creature that invaded her peaceful silence of the forest. Shell lets out an annoyed sigh, turning her attention to the girl and raising an eyebrow. "Well, are you or not miss?" she asks again, this time slightly bitter and frustration falling from her tone.

She looks around the trees not sure if she had seen them before and then thinking if she should mark or have something signialing that she had passed by there before. She couldn't help but laugh and run her slender fingers through her hair. She stopped walking and stood there a bit as she began to think of what she should do. She was definitely going to have to be back before her parents found out she's missing again. She shook her head. She just couldn't understand why they cared so much.
But of course, being humans they always have to worry, It was one thing to think someone's missing but to call a full search team to come looking for her, That was just crazy. and its not like they didn't have the money to spend. She was living with one of the wealthiest families on the block and here she was roaming around the forest, just how she liked it.
She laughs to herself once more, as her thoughts get interrupted by an irritated sounding voice, She turns around hoping to find the source of the voice, Her bronze eyes fall upon a blond haired girl leaning against an oak and flipping the pages of a book. She looked to be the same age as Victoria, if not a bit older. She stood quiet the first time she asked the question of being lost. She thought about not sure what to answer she simply sighed."I guess you can say I am, but what do you care?"She asked.

Shell shakes her head, just letting a small smirk curl up onto her pink lips. This girl was rather rude and thingyy... and she was slightly impressed. Most people just would roll their eyes and move on into the forest either managing to find their way or dying somewhere in here. Who knows?
"Being the kind hearted person that I am, I don't want anyone to die in here... Well at least I care while I'm in here. Otherwise I wouldn't. What's your name anyway girl?' she asks setting her book down into the lap of her jeans and straightening her bun a bit, as she felt a couple of smaller curls breaking free of their binding placement.

She stuck her hands into her pockets a bit surprised that the girl continued to stay where she was. Vicky and her rude self. Sure once you got to know her you practically knew she wasn't intentionally rude. Vicky was like that because she believed no one was worth trusting especially people you find in the middle of the forest. Why would this girl care so much, she doesn't even know me. She thought to herself as she noticed the girl's smirk.
Before she could say anything more or even continue with her lovely walk around this big labyrinth. The blond girl responded to her rude reply. She wasn't sure if this girl was being serious or just messing with her, She shakes her head not bothering to make any more snappy remarks and extends her hand toward her. Though she was guarded and rude at times, she still had manners. She wasn't some wild uneducated girl."Victoria Ritz, and you are?"

Shell glances up at her hand and sighs. "Sorry, I don't shake hands with strangers, especially ones walking in here." she responds politely, still looking up at the girl. "But my name is Shelby Crescent, just call me Shell though. Shelby is way to fancy and formal." she nods, tearing her eyes from Victoria and takes a quick look around the area. One could never be too careful. Shell despised her name, only because it was given to her by her father. Lord knew she hated that man with a fiery passion.
"Why are you out here anyway? Not really a safe place." she adds, letting her eyes fall back to Victoria's. Shell was expecting her to retailate and ask her the same question, but she was just reading her book in peace. Also, she had no set home. She wandered everywhere in Mediocris in her life. "You might as well join me now. I'm pretty sure you have no idea where you are hun."

She raised her eyebrow in surprise and let her hand fall back to her side before placing it on the strap of her bag. She laughed softly, she had been having doubts of even being a witch, but she couldn't get the letter her real parents read out of hr mind.fairy tale's do come true. She thought to herself and nodding her head as acknowledgment to Shelby's name. She was't sure if Shell was one of them or not. She was still a bit uncertain about the whole situation. She knew she was different but she wasn't expecting this whole things.
She smiled weakly.Nice to meet you...Shell...I guess."She said not bothering to mumble quietly the last part of her sentence. She began to crack her knuckles having something in her hand would probably help, but since she didn't she just continued to crack her knuckles. It was such an annoying habit of her but it was something that she couldn't really help."Hmm..your very quick to question aren't you my dear."She said laughing softly before answering her questions."But if you must know, I was just out here for a walk, but if you think about it nothing is really safe anymore."She nods before tucking a lock of her brown hair behind her ear.
I gues I have no other choice, don't want the folks to die of a heart attack now. She thought with a small smile."Yeah, sorry to be interrupting...well to interrupt whatever it was that you were doing, well besides reading your book."She nods to the book in her lap. "And thanks, I usually have a good sense of direction, but I guess not today."She said mostly to herself.
