The sunshine filtered through the dense overhead canopy, leaving the forest warm and humid. Belladonna's hair was frizzy and wild as she picked lavender from the forest floor, sniffing the flowers leisurely. On a whim she pushed some of the violet blossoms into her hair, smiling contentedly as she did so. The calm afternoon was quickly shattered by a few squirrels running up to Belladonna. Chattering little devils everyone of them. Distressed, they informed her someone was in the forest.
Growling in reply, the young woman abandoned her flower picking expedition in favor of getting another human out of her forest. She tucked the remaining flowers in one of the many pocket pouches she had put into her dress, and climbed the nearest tree. Once she'd reached a suitable branch, Belladonna stopped and sat down to search for the intruder.
