It really wasn't her day... how could it be when she was attempting to make her way back to the campsite and the whole of Mediocris was intent on keeping her in one place.
She had gotten word that her older sister was back at the campsite and she was exicted and fearful at that idea.
Her joy came first but then slowly she wondered if her sister had forgotten her. Surely she wouldn't but Katie let the thought that her sister wouldn't even remeber her run through her mind over and over again.
But her determination won out and she made her way back, if her sister was here that meant Overseer was back and he wasn't going to be best pleased what with the prince leaving that would be enough to set the old warlock off... and not a day passed after the prince took off that Katie decided she wanted to explore once more. She didn't get lost... Katie Collins never got lost she just took a longer route back.
Now she was near the old castle and she had heard strange noises through out the woods that could only belong to the creatures of the wastelands. Quickening her steps as the memories of those sounds flooded her mind she edged around the castle and hoped to make her way straight to the woods and that was only a short distance to the campsite.

Arabella walked about, fairly bored. She wasn't feeling her best, either. It was probably all the heat, she'd assumed, and decided to stay under any shade she could. She spotted a girl walking around, and tried to step back so she be seen, but stepped on a twig, that snapped loudly. She gasped a little too loudly, and slapped a hand over her mouth, frowning at herself. Darn it... she thought. If the girl hadn't heard that, she was deaf.

Her steps were quick until she heard a noise. Debating with her self until she was sure it was a gasp. Stopping and slowly slipping her bow from her shoulder she glanced around her.... things were not always that simple out here, not since Moria drove all good creatures from here.
Surely if it was a friendly creature they would have made them selves known to her but of course a small niggling feeling growing in the pit of her stomach she knew that something out there was as friendly.
"You best come out... I don't have time for you to be playing games" Katie called holding her bow by her side and was already reaching for an arrow.

Arabella clasped her hands at her chest, stepping out shyly from behind the wall she'd fled behind. Perfect, time to play games with little girls, she thought, upon seeing her. She looked innocently at the girl, taking small, reluctant steps. She was young, from what she could see, but far from stupid, seeing she had a bow. Smart child... she thought, inwardly smiling to herself, though her expression stated fearful and curious. "Um... hello..." she said, voice bearly a whisper.

Katie was far from relaxed and even more further from trusting. She had at least known to listen to Overseer and Charlie when they said never trust anyone outside the camp and especially if she didn't know them by sight.
"Who are you... and why are you here, no one comes here anymore unless they work for Moria" Katie stated guarded, though she lowered her bow and arrow she made sure to keep her self ready for any attack.

She raised an eyebrow, although inside, she was laughing and smirking. This child... she liked her already. She was a smart one... smarter than she expected. "Milady...." she asked, tilting her head to the side with a curious and suspicous look on her face, "If that is so then... why are you here?"

]size=1]Feeling her self flush Katie lowered her bow and scrubbed at the back of neck. She had forgotten what it may seem like for her to be demanding what the girl was doing here and she hadn't given a valid reason for her being there.
"I was making my way back to my camp... these is the quickest way" Katie admitted before frowning.
"Katie Collins... and you would be?" Katie questioned watching the girl very closely.

"I am Arabella. It's nice to meet you, Katie" Well, she'd at least gotten her to give her a name. What more she'd get out of her, who knew? Maybe she'd take her to Overseer. She needed to talk to him. "How old are you? Are your parents around?" she asked, looking a bit concerned. She actually honestly was. She had nothing against this girl, and was actually growing to like her. She was tough for her young age. Still... walking alone in times such as these? Very dangerous.
